Welcome to the Australasian Research Training Administrators website.

The group was established in 1997 as the Postgraduate Research Administrators Taskforce (PRATS) and the name was change to the Australasian Research Training Administrators (ARTA) in 2007.

The group is the administrative support network closely aligned with the Council of Deans and Directors of Graduate Studies (DDOGS) and consists of staff engaged in the administration of research degrees within higher education institutions in Australia and New Zealand. These administrative areas include, but are not limited to, scholarships, thesis examination, management, professional development, training, support, projects and policy development.

CONFERENCE

The 2010 Conference shall be held in Adelaide, South Australia as part of the Quality in Postgraduate Research (QPR) Conference, Educating Researchers for the 21st Century scheduled for 13-15 April.
